Lander is our beloved pet, and this past week has been incredibly tough for our family. On Monday, Lander suddenly stopped eating, which was very unlike him. We took him to the vet right away, and at first, everything seemed normal—they thought it might just be a stomach bug, so we went home hoping he’d feel better soon. But by Tuesday morning, Lander still hadn’t eaten, and we knew something was really wrong. We rushed back to the vet, and this time, he had a temperature. The vet ran bloodwork, an X-ray, and an ultrasound, and that’s when we found out Lander had pancreatitis. Since then, he’s been hospitalized every day, receiving IV fluids and antibiotics to help him recover. Tomorrow will be his fourth day at the vet, and it’s been so hard seeing him go through this.

The costs for Lander’s care have added up quickly, with vet bills, medication, and ongoing treatment to help him heal. We are doing everything we can to make sure he gets the best care possible, but it’s a lot to manage on our own. That’s why we’re reaching out for help from our community.
