Hi! My name is Landen Brown. I’m a 20-year-old music education major at CSU Stanislaus, and I have auditioned and earned a contract to march with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps for this 2026 Summer!

Drum Corps is basically the major leagues of marching band. Each corps practices 10+ hours a day throughout the summer to master a 12-minute field show and travel and compete at 20+ shows around the country against other drum corps.

I have been so fortunate to march several other Summers with other drum corps but Vanguard is historically known for being one of the best groups and placed 3rd at the world championships in 2025. It does come with an extensive $5,500 tuition which covers bus travel, housing, food, uniforms, etc. Along with tuition, I do have to cover several flights going to the rehearsal camps, spring training, and my flight home at the end of the Summer. Currently, I am at school full-time and working part-time as much as possible, and this GoFundMe will help pay off the tuition, flight costs, and extra expenses.
