Landen has been accepted to be a member of the 2026 Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps, a Drum Corps International (DCI) World Class drum corps. This extremely difficult, yet incredible and prestigious opportunity allows Landen to participate in the world's highest level of musical performing and marching arts. This summer, Landen will embark with the Troopers across the entire United States, performing their competitive show in front of hundreds of thousands of spectators. With 22 shows over a 45-day span, the cost of tuition and travel is significant.
Landen began his love for music after picking up his dad's trombone and guitar at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Since then, Landen has worked hard on two priorities: school education (always) first, and growing his musical instrument abilities. He has become skillful with brass instruments, guitar, and bass guitar. Landen began his marching band journey during his 8th grade year performing the Sousaphone (Tuba). His leadership and skills awarded him the honor of being selected as the Drum Major (conductor) for his 11th grade, and soon to be his 12th-grade year with his local high school marching band.
As a member of the Troopers, Landen will continue to grow his leadership skills, while learning an incredible work ethic that will help establish him for the future. Funds raised will help cover his tuition and travel expenses so he can participate in this life-changing experience and pursue his dreams. Every little bit helps! Thank you for supporting Landen as he takes this next big step.
