My name is Lance Brown, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my mother, brother, friends, and families, who recently lost their home in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. The storm tore through their community, leaving behind destruction, heartbreak, and uncertainty. In just a few minutes, she lost nearly everything she worked her whole life to build.

My mom has always been the kind of person who helps others first - whether it was opening her home to friends in need, volunteering in her neighborhood, or simply being the one everyone could turn to. Now she’s the one who needs help. She is currently displaced and trying to rebuild her life from the ground up. All donations will go towards helping them secure a safe place to live, replace essential belongings, and begin the long process of recovery.
