In May, I first considered reaching out for help, but out of respect for Lance's wishes, I hesitated. Today, circumstances demand urgency. After relentless persuasion, Lance underwent a Cardia Catheterization Test (CCT) on Thursday, July 25th. The next morning, a sudden call from his cardiologist shattered our peace. We rushed to the ER and discovered Lance had a 95% blockage in the main left ventricle - often referred to as the "widow maker."

From July 27th to today, July 31st, we've spent countless hours in the ER. On July 30th, the heart Cath lab reveled that a stent wouldn't suffice. Only bypass surgery could save Lance. On Wednesday August 1st, he underwent double bypass open heart surgery.
