Help a Kurdish-Owned Business - Prana by Lana - Devastated by the LA Fires
On January 8th, the Pacific Palisades fires tragically destroyed both the apartment and physical shop of Lana, a young Kurdish woman and the heart behind Prana by Lana. This business, which she poured her heart and soul into, was a vibrant part of the local community, offering artisanal handcrafted products such as skincare, candles, teas, herbal medicines, and goods sourced from small farms and indigenous tribes throughout the world. Now, with both her home and business reduced to ashes, Lana is facing the unimaginable.
Lana's story is one of resilience, ambition, and dedication. As a child of Kurdish immigrants, she worked tirelessly to create a space that not only served as a business but also as a sanctuary for many in the community. The fire has taken everything from her, but with your help, she can restore and rise stronger than ever.
We, the Kurdish Community of Southern California (KCSC), are a non-profit organization located in Southern California. We promote the preservation of Kurdish culture for the Kurdish diaspora community in Southern California. We are organizing this fundraiser to help Lana, one of our beloved community members.
Your donations will go directly toward helping Lana get back on her feet both personally and professionally, allowing her to recover from this devastating loss and continue her dream.
Please consider donating to this GoFundMe campaign and sharing it with others. Every contribution counts, and together, we can help Lana and Prana by Lana thrive once more.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
