As many of you may know, our mom, Lana Plaisted, suffered a major heart attack on Saturday, July 26th. She was rushed into emergency open-heart surgery for an aortic dissection repair and is currently still in the ICU, trying to recover the best she can.

We have both flown home to Washington to help advocate for her health and safety, and to take care of her home. Many of these expenses (hotels, plane tickets, vehicle rental, gas, meals, etc.) are quickly adding up, in addition to Lana’s medical bills from this situation.

Her recovery is still uncertain and we’re taking it moment by moment. We all know our parents won’t last forever, but this is not something we could have prepared for at such a young age.

We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and all our family’s generous support, please keep it coming for our mama’s sake.
