Hello family and friends! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. We deeply appreciate all of the support so far and during this road ahead.
For those who do not know yet, our mother Lana Nelson recently had a tumor removed from the bone just below her left eye and it turned out to be Stage 1 (small blessing if there can be such a thing with cancer) Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma (Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.)
Lana has been a resident of the Santa Ynez Valley for 33 years. For the majority of those years she has raised her 3 sons on her own (of course with the appreciated help of family, friends and coaches along the way.) Raising 3 boys as a single mother required her working 7 days a week with very few vacations or time off in all those years. My brothers and I owe any and all of our best characteristics to her dedication to and more importantly love for us. We'll never know how she did it.
We have been overwhelmed with the support we have received so far and are reminded daily of how fortunate we are to be surrounded by so many wonderful people. We are setting up this GoFundMe in anticipation of any and all unforeseen expenses and complications. We have no idea what to expect during all of this and any form of help is appreciated greatly.
