If you know Lana and Jimmy you definitely love them. Within the past year this wonderful couple have gotten married and brought their families together. But there have been some challenges and we are hoping their friends and family and their social media contacts can help. I am Lana's twin sister and am hoping we can all rally around and help them.

A little backstory:

Jimmy is a disabled veteran who proudly served our country as a combat engineer. He is currently on a fixed disability income through the military. Lana is a yoga and dance instructor who also does beauty treatments locally and works at the VFW as your favorite bartender.

Lana and Jimmy recently gained custody of two more of Jimmy’s kids from North Carolina. While we can’t go into details about this the two of them have incurred extensive legal bills in order to keep the kids in a safe and appropriate environment, and unfortunately there are more legal bills to come.

During this legal battle Lana and Jimmy purchased a new manufactured home to more comfortably house their growing family. They wanted their six children to all have space and feel comfortable. The home was recently delivered and they had just started moving their belongings and family in when Lana became seriously injured.

Lana has now spent 3 nights in the hospital being monitored for serious infection that could be life changing. Thankfully at this point it is looking as if she has escaped the worse case scenario of long term health issues, her recovery is going to be serious. Lana will be in a walker or crutches for at least six weeks, will need IV antibiotics for six weeks, ongoing doctor’s visits/follow ups, physical therapy. Needless to say with her jobs being so physical she will be unable to work for 6-8 weeks.

They are currently faced with the growing legal bills, a new house payment, moving expenses. They are usually the type of people to give help rather than ask for it. I’ve seen Lana and Jimmy take in kids, animals, help their elderly friends, or help friends having health issues.
