- Hi Everyone! My name is Edna Lana. I am fundraising for our ohana. We have 3 kids and a grandson. On August 8, 2023 we escaped and survived the wild fire in Maui Hawaii. We lost our home and our beloved pets that were a big part of our family. I was at work at the time of the fires so I only had my uniform purse and lunchbox with me. I am currently out of a job as well because my workplace has no water or electricity and I don't know when we will be able to reopen if at all. I lost my car in the fire and insurance has denied me and compensation.
