Help Lana Continue Her Transition and Bounce Back

Hey there I'm Lana Lynch, I'm a trans woman, and my pronouns are she/her. I am in need of help to pay my COBRA Insurance Premiums so I can keep my insurance and transition, while also getting my life back together.

Over the past year I have suffered lots of setbacks that I am still trying to overcome, and hopefully I will with y'alls help. I started my medical transition right before the pandemic in 2020 and I was able to get by on unemployment through that summer, before going back to work part time at reduced hours in the fall. I contacted Covid around that time and quickly started suffering from the Long Haul Covid symptoms. This persisted for months. I was abrubtly fired from my job of nearly 10 years in January 2021, while still suffering with Long Covid. Unemployment was denied and I have been appealing ever since with no avail. The next month in February I was one of the victims in the Winter Storm that hit Texas, my apartment flooded and ceilings collapsed. I then had to move out and end the lease early, so I eventually moved back home with my parents. I still had Long Covid which severely restricted any type of job search, but I thankfully got the vaccine in May and am very very very lucky to have my symptoms be cured after the shots. I am doing better now after doing exercises to get back to a normal physical state.

While all this has been going on, I have still been going through my transition. Doctor's appointments, labs, medication, and insurance is where nearly all of my savings have been going and I am getting close to running out completely. My parents have been a great help through all this but they are not able to fully support me. This is where I hope y'all come in.

I am just needing help to get through these next few months while I find a replacement job and a place on my own. Keeping my insurance though is my #1 priority and all funds will go towards that first. After that funds will be put aside for moving expenses and then any extra will be for transition procedures (such as laser hair removal and bottom surgery).
