Help Lamya Ghilan’s family to safety in Egypt

My name is Amanda Beaule and I have the honor of helping a beautiful Palestinian family. I met Lamya through her sister, my friend, Samah. I invite all of you to join me in helping Lamya and her family, who are facing many difficulties and challenges during this genocide in Palestine.

Palestinians are able to seek safety in Egypt, however there are costs for them to cross the border. At this time it is $5000 an adult, each and about $2500 for each child. In addition they will need funds for basic needs and rebuilding their lives in Egypt and hopefully, when they return to Palestine.

‏Let me allow Lamya to tell you her story:

‏"I am Lamya, 20 years old, recently married. I have one baby, her name is Hoor and she is 2 months old. Our house was completely destroyed, my husband is Mohammad he is 25 years old. He lost his job as an accountant in a company that was also destroyed. We are now living in a tent that is not suitable for life. There is nothing left for us but devastation.

‏We need your help to survive this brutal war. Circumstances have taken an unexpected turn for us, and now we are pleading for your help and support.

‏You are our priority today, and our hearts long for your love and assistance. We need your contribution to provide us with basic needs such as food, water, and necessary living supplies.”

I keep in touch with Lamya and her sister Samah weekly, through messages and video calls as well. Time is running out and we need to spread this fund as much as we can. If you cant donate, please please share it, spread the word. Let’s at least help one family to safety.

Our Goals You Can Help Us Achieve

1. Evacuate

Lamya, Mohammed and baby Hoor to Egypt. This will cost about $20,000 including all fees and passports.

2. Support

Housing and basic living expenses, once they are in Egypt, about $10,000.

3. Survive

In the meantime, they must survive. Approximately $5000 will go / will have gone for their daily survival in Rafah. Food prices are extremely high.

4. Rebuild

Home rebuilding with the remaining in donations will be forwarded to rebuilding their destroyed home.
