Help Lamont Worley Battle Cancer
Donation protected
As some of you may know, our father, Lamont Worley was diagnosed with Stage IV stomach cancer over Thanksgiving 2015. Since that time, we've visited with and spoken to doctors all over Florida, during which time he has undergone multiple different types of intense chemotherapy.
He had a procedure to surgically remove his stomach in June of 2016, but once they cut him open, they found additional tumors, so they chose not to proceed with the removal. Fortunately, we were lucky enough that he qualified for a spot in a Phase 3 clinical trial in Orlando. The trial has been great, as he has received some pain relief, and we have seen good results with the size of the tumors slowly decreasing. However, the treatment comes at a cost. With him making two trips weekly to the cancer center, and constantly being sick and worn out from the chemo, it has greatly interfered with his ability to perform his regular masonry/stucco work and earn his regular wages. We (Clayton, Jolene, Shayla, and Olin) do whatever we can to financially alleviate the burden on him; and as times have become tougher, we have come together to assist him in any way possible.
We are raising money during this challenging time to help pay for his unpaid medical and living expenses, which includes the support of his two youngest children (Collin, age 16; and Nicole, age 10) while he continues to fight the cancer every day.
