Lamin Susso is another Gambian hero who risked his life crossing the Sahara Desert and the Mediterranean Sea in search of a better future. He arrived in Italy in 2013 with hope, determination, and dreams for his family.

Lamin became the backbone of his family. Through hard work and sacrifice, he built a home for his loved ones and created a happy family of his own.

Today, however, Lamin is facing the greatest battle of his life.

Since last year ,he has been struggling between life and death after being diagnosed with liver cancer. The strong man who once cared for everyone around him is now unable to care for himself. He has been bedridden for more than a year, fighting this devastating illness every single day.

Lamin urgently needs specialized treatment overseas, but the cost is far beyond what his family can afford. They are reaching out with hope, asking for support from friends, family, and kind-hearted people around the world.
