Help Lameen Williams Fight Covid-19!

Hi, my name is Chris Manis. I've been friends and worked with Lameen Williams at Enersys (Alpha Technologies) for many years, now. Lameen has been in the Atrium Health Union Hospital fighting Covid-19 since August 13th, 2021, and he could use our help. Please join me in giving his family a bit of relief while he's fighting.

Lameen Williams is a father of 6, an uncle to many, a friend that's always there, a Master Griller, Coach La, a loving husband, the life of the party, and an all around awesome guy. He has 6 children that range from 23 to 5 years old. He is that dad! He will be there no matter what. Of course he might fuss a little and make you understand the consequences of your actions, but all the while he is opening his wallet to give out whatever is needed.

Outside of his natural nieces and nephews, Lameen is the guy that loves to support his community of kids. Whether it’s going to a sporting event to show his support, or calling folks on the phone just to check on them. Once you are his friend - you are a friend for life! There have been many days where he would call to check on people he worked with years ago just because they crossed his mind.

Grilling is definitely one of his passions. Of course he had to have the biggest and best grill ever made, and justified it with “you know I can put it all on at one time”. His grill is his happy place! He would have to go live on Facebook and be like "y’all come get some of this good food".

Lameen is a head coach and co-owner of the NC Carolina Venom - a Minor League Football team that provides a platform for eligible young athletes to develop their football skills for the next level, while developing their moral character and serving their community. His motto has always been “We are more than a team, we are family”. Lameen has opened his home to players and their families. He believes “I’m not only sharing that young man's love for the game, but I'm sharing his love for life and his family. “

When he met his wife, Von (even though he didn’t mean to), he immediately held nothing back about what his intentions were with her! They met in April, and he proposed by May. They were married in October and they've been going strong for 6 years.

If you ever meet Lameen, you won’t forget him. He is the joke cracker, junk talker, and will make you feel feel like part of his family - all in one encounter. It doesn't matter how you came into contact with Lameen, you definitely will remember him! He is the one that loves to have family and friends over. He is the one that plans family trips to make memories. He is all about showing love and support.
