Help Lama’s Family Evacuate From Gaza

Lama is a 15-year-old Palestinian girl born and raised in Rafah, Gaza. Her home is currently under heavy bombardment every day and her family has had to flee on foot. We are raising funds to help her family evacuate to Egypt which costs $5000 per family member. All funds raised will go to evacuating this family from Gaza to Egypt and any additional funding will help secure housing and food for them. Here is Lama’s story: I am Lama Al-Nahhal from the Gaza Strip and I am 15 years old. As you know, we are under heavy bombardment. Our house has been severely damaged because the occupation destroyed the house next to us and the children inside were martyred, may they rest peacefully. We do not have any of the normal necessities of life, such as electricity, clean water, or quality food. Israel kills our innocent people every day and the world watches without any reaction to save us. My mother is pregnant and my sister suffers from asthma that is made worse by the air pollution from bombs. My grandmother suffers from heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure, my aunt is deaf, and my uncle suffers from decreased mental abilities due to a lack of thyroid hormone. We need to get them all the proper medical care they need. Our family has decided we must evacuate to Egypt to save ourselves from this genocide, but the travel costs $5,000 per person. We are a family of 8 including 2 young children. To escape from Gaza together, we will need $40,000. This is in addition to the money we will need for food and safe housing. We do not even have $1000 dollars, so I decided to create this Gofoundme link. Please help me to save my family from certain death, because the occupation does not only target Hamas, but also kills innocent civilian families.
