Hi, my name is Kritisha (official name Lalita Paudyal). I am just 24 years old, an international student in Australia, and I am currently fighting blood cancer (Leukaemia).

My life changed suddenly when I was diagnosed and had to begin intensive treatment. I am currently receiving treatment at Westmead Hospital. Many wonderful people have come forward to support me during this difficult time, and I am deeply grateful to my doctors, social workers, nurses, friends, and everyone who has been there for me on this journey.

However, I have also realised that financial difficulties play a very big role during treatment. My doctors have advised that I may need a bone marrow transplant.

My savings have been running out quickly, and along with treatment-related costs I am also struggling to cover everyday living expenses such as rent, groceries, transportation, and accommodation while going through treatment. My sister also needs to travel and stay with me to support and care for me during this time, which adds further expenses.I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this, but the financial burden has become overwhelming. Any support, no matter how small, would truly mean the world to me and help me focus on fighting this disease and recovering.

More than anything, I just want the chance to go back to my normal life which is studying, working, and spending time with my family.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me during this journey. If I am fortunate enough to recover, I hope one day I can give back and help others in the community who may be going through similar challenges.Please also take care of your health and cherish the people around you.
