Help Lalit Get Back on the Road Again
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out on behalf of a friend and fellow commuter, Lalit, whose bicycle was recently stolen from the Beverly MBTA station. This bike wasn’t just a ride — it was Family. A primary mode of transportation to work, appointments, and errands. It represented independence, sustainability, and a little peace of mind in a busy world.
On June 25th 2025 , after returning from a long day, Lalit was flabbergasted after seeing just his bike lock -- no bike . It was a gutting discovery — especially since it had taken months of saving to buy that bike in the first place.
Public transportation is a lifeline, but without a reliable way to get to and from the station, their daily routine has become a major challenge.
We’re trying to raise $500-$1000 to help replace the stolen bike, including a new lock and basic gear (helmet, lights, etc.). Any amount you can give — even just a few dollars — would go directly toward getting them back on the road.
If you've ever had something taken from you, you know how violating and frustrating it feels. Let’s help turn this awful moment into a reminder that kindness still wins.
Thank you so much for reading and supporting!
With gratitude,
Ab
