Aloha,

Just recently I received some very unexpected news.....news that most of the world either would never want to receive. Truly, most people I know, their worst fear....to receive the news that you have Cancer.

I honestly still am unsure of how to feel....still really trying to sort that out. One thing I know I have learned about all that the power and value of positive visualization and positive thinking has carried me through some tough times. And I believe in the power of prayer and the Miracles that can come from Pule. With community support, love, prayers, and some tears I hope to defeat this!

This fundraiser is important because I am not exactly sure the road I am about to traverse, and I am scared....even though those who know me as strong....

We never really plan for these things to happen....and financially I am unable to take care of the things I need to get me through this.

I am leaving for Arizona in just a few weeks. I will be going to one of the best medical clinics in the world and one that specializes in Cervical cancer. And that's what type I have. I also was told I have a tumor and we will need to do imaging.

Keanuenue and I will be in a place we Know few people and will essentially need to create a stress free situation.

This leads me to share with you what your funds will help with.

I will be taking a leave of absence from my job for at least 5-8 weeks.
