My name is Lakita, and I’m reaching out because I’m facing a difficult time. I have had surgery, and as a result, I won’t be able to work for a while. This has put me in a tough spot where I’m struggling to feed my kids, pay our bills, and keep a roof over our heads. The stress of not knowing how I’ll manage everything has been overwhelming, but I’m trying to stay hopeful for my family.

The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward our most urgent needs: rent, groceries, lights, gas, and transportation. I also want to make sure my kids can still have a Christmas, even though things are hard right now. Every bit of support will help us get through this period and give my children some stability and comfort while I recover from surgery.
