Hi family and friends,

I have decided to create this GoFundMe for my mother-in-law, Lainie. She is truly a ray of sunshine and, true to who she is, she’s determined not to let her diagnosis slow her down. Lainie has recently been diagnosed with two types of breast cancer and is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy. The next steps in her journey include a mastectomy, followed by another six months of chemotherapy.

Lainie has worked full-time her entire life, but has had to step away from work during this incredibly difficult time. Unfortunately, there is very limited support available for single mothers facing a cancer diagnosis. While many of us are feeling the financial strain right now, Lainie is carrying more than most. With two young daughters still at home and the rising costs of rent, food, petrol and electricity, everything is quickly adding up.

If you know Lainie, you know she is always the first to open her home and her heart to anyone in need. If anyone deserves this support, it is truly her.
