Help Lain Fight Against Lyme Disease

Hi Everyone,

Some may know me as Shiela Duvall and some may know me as Lain Armel’s twin sister. Some may or may not know but my twin and best friend for life has been very ill fighting Lyme disease since before he was diagnosed with it in January of 2022.

A little history on the beginning of this fight is he had contracted Covid-19 in December of 2021. He went to see a disease control specialist about symptoms he was having and they miss-diagnosed him as after affects of Covid for a year. He was finally found positive with Lyme disease where treatments from 3 different doctors consist of several MRI’s, 6 spinal taps, tons of blood drawn, 8 different antibiotics(vein and pill form), brain scans, and more to have no relief. It has now turned into Lyme Mengitis (Lyme located in his spine and brain). The last location he was at has suddenly closed their doors to the practice. All his finances has been exhausted with not being able to work. So here we are.

In researching treatment centers the expense Is large as Lyme disease is not covered by insurance. With research and calling, I found a center with a high success rate but the cost of the treatment and to house him in Florida for however long it will take to help him with no source of income as he can’t work will be expensive.

I am asking for donations to pay for the following:

His physical suffering of 3 years consists of massive headaches, vision loss, fatigue, joint pain, unbalance to walk or stand, memory loss, swelling in his joints, fluid on his spine and brain etc. He wants to go back to work and live again.

Please help me help my partner in crime and my best friend since birth to beat Lyme disease. I have seen what he has gone through and he doesn’t deserve to lose everything he loves and has worked hard to achieve because of something he could of not controlled. He is the most caring and loving human being who has overcome a lot as some know his story and he is the best sibling and friend.

• He is so prideful and will be upset with me for doing this, but it will only be for a little while. Him being upset with me is nothing compared to saving his life, and I am willing to bare that piece to keep my life sharing best friend who I love very much.
