Laila, my daughter, is a first-generation college student who will be graduating high school next month. She has worked incredibly hard to reach this milestone, and now she’s preparing to start at San Francisco State in the fall. This transition is a big step for her, and we want to make sure she has the support she needs to succeed.

The funds raised will help cover Laila’s housing and meal plan as she begins college. Having a safe place to live and enough to eat will allow her to focus on her studies and make the most of this opportunity. She is a talented artist and singer, and she plans to major in industrial design. We are so proud of her determination and creativity.

Laila has struggled with depression and anxiety throughout school, but she pushed through because she so strongly wants to get to college. We don’t want financial hardship to be the reason she can’t achieve her dream. We are so appreciative of any and all support—it means so much to Laila. Thank you.
