Hi! My name is Laila!

I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. I have been cheering at my school for 7 years. This year, being captain, I have been chosen to cheer at the Pinellas County’s “All Star” game where I get to cheer with many other seniors from different schools all over the county. I was also given the opportunity to try out as an All American Cheerleader, and then chosen as FCC’s 2023 “All FCC Cheerleader”. I also cheered competitively at Florida Topdog Allstars for 3 years holding 1 state title and 1 national title. I appreciate my time at Topdog, but had to move on for greater opportunities like mission trips!

Every year my school gives us high schoolers the opportunity to serve all around the world; Germany, London, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and many different states here in the US. In past years, I haven’t been able to go on a trip due to traveling with competitive cheer. However, this year, I am able to go on a trip!

I was so blessed to be selected for the Ecuador trip! However, due to the recent outbreak in Ecuador, our team has decided it was best to relocate our mission! So I will be traveling to Antigua, Guatemala to serve!

I have a part time job and am still very involved at my school with cheerleading, theatre, and volunteering.

I am raising money to help pay for this once in a lifetime trip.
