Join us in supporting Kristine and her beautiful daughters, Brylee and Laila, as they navigate through this difficult and heartbreaking time. On Friday the 20th, Brylee and Laila were involved in a tragic tubing jet ski accident that changed their lives forever. Tragically, their beloved cousin gained her angel wings in the accident, leaving a void in their hearts. Laila, at just 8 years old, has been through so much, being airlifted to a trauma pediatric hospital and undergoing her first surgery. She's currently in the pediatric ICU, fighting courageously every minute to recover from her severe injuries. Laila is a remarkable, loving girl who adores her family, school, and playing with her friends. Her heart is full of love, especially for her cousin who meant the world to her. Brylee, at 9 years old, also experienced the trauma of the accident and is hurting from the loss of her best friend and the sight of her baby sister fighting in the hospital. Their mom, Kristine, is also facing immense challenges, having a premature baby boy in another state's NICU. The family's goal is to reunite Laila with her baby brother in the hospital, providing comfort and love during this incredibly tough time. The journey has been full of obstacles, with the recent denial of an air transfer due to neurological concerns and uncertainty about insurance coverage for bringing Laila back home. They desperately need our help and support to overcome these hurdles and focus on Laila's recovery. As they go through this heart-wrenching experience, let's come together to uplift and empower this beautiful family. Every prayer, share, and donation makes a world of difference for them. Let's show them that they're not alone in this challenging journey. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
****Update ****Laila's transport will not be covered we have to pay cash out of pocket up front ranging from $7200 for ground to $15, 000 for air. Later on we also got the breaking news of her insurance is not accepted at this hospital due to we are from the state of Florida. Keep in mind the accident happened in the state of Florida we did not ask for her to be transferred out of the state of Florida. Please help get Laila home.
