Help Lafreya Davis Recover and Support Her Family

Hi, my name is Lafreya Davis, and I'm reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life.

I recently went in for a nephrectomy (kidney removal surgery), expecting to come home and begin my recovery. But shortly after returning home, I experienced severe complications. I had to call EMS due to a bleeding ulcer, and it was discovered that I had internal bleeding. This led to three emergency surgeries, and I was placed in a medicated coma for two days.

Now, I’m home and on the long road to recovery. I've been told I need to be out of work for at least 90 days. As a single mom of three wonderful kids, this situation has put a heavy strain on my life. I'm doing everything I can to stay strong, but the weight of medical bills, everyday expenses, and caring for my children is overwhelming.

I've always been a hard worker and someone who takes pride in providing for my family. Being unable to work is not just financially stressful—it's taking a toll on my mental health, too.

I’m humbly asking for help during this time. Any amount you can give will go directly toward covering household bills, groceries, basic needs for my kids, and medical expenses while I recover.
