Help Lady Bug Battle Hemolytic Anemia

Our little Lady Bug was admitted to the hospital two days ago and is currently battling with immune-mediated hemolytic Anaemia. Essentially, her body is fighting itself and killing its own red blood cells… We are being told it’s common in Cocker Spaniels… even in a young dog like our little 3 year old. This was very sudden; overnight she went from her normal self to having no energy, no appetite and jaundiced. She’s currently undergoing multiple blood transfusions as the doctors are working to find the medication that can stop her body from fighting itself. Even with pet insurance, this is proving to be a financially difficult time. Any help you might be able provide is greatly appreciated as we try and get our Lady back home safe and healthy before Christmas.
