Hi, my name is Ladonna Burton and I am a single mother of two beautiful daughters, ages 1 and 9. Our lives changed when their father passed away from stage 4 bladder cancer on Nov 8th, 2024. I have been doing everything I can to keep us stable, safe, and moving forward all by myself.

I recently secured a new place for us, but it will not be ready until December. I’ve already paid part of the deposit, but I’m struggling to cover the remaining balance, along with our basic needs. I do work, but my income is limited and I do not receive SNAP benefits. With regular bills, food coverage, gas, car note, and insurance, I’ve been overwhelmed trying to make everything stretch on my own.

Right now, I am seeking help for:

• A short hotel stay to keep my girls safe until we move in

• The remaining balance toward our deposit

• Food and necessities for my daughters
