Help Lacie Save Honey: Urgent Vet Care Needed
Donation protected
Hi all!
My sister would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need, so please consider helping if you are able.
This is Honey, my little sister's other half. She woke up this Saturday morning and was having trouble walking so Lacie took her to the emergency vet and was given some not so great news. She was diagnosed with IVDD, which is a neurological degenerative disorder that affects the spinal cord. Within a few short hours her back legs became paralyzed. Lacie had to nearly deplete her savings just to get her stabilized, and will still need an MRI (5k) and most likely surgery (an ungodly amount of $). Lacie would never ask for help- but she needs it. Not only is she a full time dog mom, but she works full time and is putting herself through school. Funds are tight and Honey means the absolute world to her. We lost our mom a little while back and Honey has been one of the only things keeping her going. This pup is only 4 years old and has lots of life left to live. Even if that means she spends it continuing to bark at inanimate objects, getting into the trash, and forcing Lacie to walk 6 miles before finally deciding to use the bathroom.
If you know Lacie at all- you know how much she loves and needs Honey. So Please Please Please (Like Sabrina Carpenter says) consider donating and/or sharing this post!
