Help Lacey Vance's Recovery from Dog Mauling

My name is Shayne. My cousin, Lacey Vance of East Liverpool, was attacked by her fur companion on July 18th, 2025. She was so severely injured she almost lost her life. She was airlifted to a trauma hospital and in ICU for a couple of days. She has a very long road to recovery. Unfortunately, she had been let go from her job on July 22. Without insurance coverage and any income, Lacey may not receive the recovery that she desperately needs. Her landlord and the man that saved her life, Shaun, is also trying to find help finishing her apartment to suit her needs and build a ramp so she can eventually go home. Lacey has no idea what her future will be at this point, with so much uncertainty. I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes of relieving my beautiful cousin of the stress of this unfortunate event that has forever changed the lives of so many, especially Lacey's.

Those of you who know Lacey, you know she's the most fun. She is a fabulous person, a lover of animals and people, and Jesus. I am so grateful to God her life was spared that day. Please pray for my cousin. She not only has to go through so much medically, she also has to mourn her companion whom she cherished and loved.

Lacey has a copay of 3,000 dollars to be able to go to rehab at a local nursing home immediately. She also needs money for her bills as she has lost her job. She asked me to create this for her. She also asked me to let everyone know that she appreciates the outpouring of love and prayer.
