My name is Lacey, and I am a single mother of three boys. I’ve always done everything I can to support my children, but this year has been more than I can handle alone. In July, I became seriously ill with a very large blood clot, and my heart condition got worse. Because of my illness, I lost my job and quickly fell behind on bills. It’s overwhelming, and I feel helpless watching the bills pile up while I struggle to recover.

Most of the funds I’m hoping to raise will go toward living expenses so my boys and I don’t lose our home. Some will help with medical bills that just keep coming. We’re facing the real possibility of losing our home by the first week of January if I can’t find a way to catch up. I have a court hearing coming up about our rental situation, and it feels like my whole world is crashing down. I’ve never asked for help before, and it’s hard to admit I need it now, but I truly don’t know what else to do.
