Help Johnny & Labretta Back On The Road 

If you are seeing this, you likely already know the tale.
Some miscreant made off with their beloved vehicle; their beautiful red Suburban. A ring of car thieves jacked it a few days ago from the apartment parking garage.  By now, it will most likely be in a chop shop. 

For a touring musician, this is devastation of the highest order. You need gigs to earn and you need a big vehicle to get to your gigs.
It's a tool of the trade. 

If you know these two you know this fund raiser will embarrass the hell out of them because they are such hard workers that believe in toughing it out on their own. They are people you want on your side when you need help but are never ones to have their hands out.

You move countries in a pandemic with your pets , settle in,  get work, an apartment and have your band up in running in no time and tell me how easy that is. They are both committed to their music and their audiences, that they wanted to move back to the USA even in this mess! They work so hard to entertain people. 

I personally met them in 2008 in New York City as we were all performers. They quickly become well loved characters in the music and entertainment community and continue to be a part of the NYC scene to this day. They are hard working  touring musicians and don't shy away from doing anything to get by. NYC is no easy town and these guys became fixtures. 

7 years later due to their problematic art visa's, they returned back to New Zealand and continued to keep their ties with their USA friends and audiences. They were finally granted Greencards in 2021 but due to Trump's presidency they were denied entry, as he had banned legal immigration.  Biden rescinded the law but by then they only had 15 days left before their Greencards would expire. Most normal people would give up and would have felt defeated by the whole scenario. Not these two! 

They managed to pack their lives up in 15 days and entered the country in March 2021 on the very last day before their Greencards expired. It has taken them many years to get those Greencards. Yet these two are so humble, you would never know their story, struggles and how far their fame reaches. 

Johnny and Labretta are salt of the Earth people, I don't need to tell you that. If you are reading this, I'm 100% certain that they have enfolded with in friendship, rocked you till dawn, or drank you under the table and made you laugh till your sides split.

These are also people you can bring home to meet your Daddy at Christmas, and have a holiday you will never forget.
I know, I've done it. Their hearts are huge, their pockets are not.

Let's all open ours just a titch and help them get back on the road!!!!
