On Thursday, November 13, 2025, tragedy struck when LaBrea’s apartment caught fire. In just a few short minutes, everything she owned was lost: her clothes, furniture, keepsakes, and all the things that made her little home feel like home. Thankfully, LaBrea and her two cats, Riggy & Rambo, and her dog, Frannie, made it out safely.

Unfortunately, LaBrea did not have renter’s insurance, and now faces the overwhelming challenge of starting over completely from scratch. She’s staying with friends for now, but she needs help to rebuild her life: finding a new place to live, replacing essentials like clothes, furniture, and pet supplies, and getting back on her feet.

LaBrea works hard to create a fun and accepting fitness community and now it’s our turn to show her the community she's built has her back, too. Every donation, no matter the size, will help her rebuild her home and regain stability for herself and her fur babies.
