Help La Verne Softball Majors Succeed In Regional

On July 17, 2021 the La Verne Little League Softball Majors Team made history for La Verne and captured the Little League California State Champion Title earning themselves the opportunity of a lifetime to represent not only the city of La Verne but also represent Southern California in the Western Regionals Tournament in San Bernardino, CA beginning July 25th airing on ESPN.

Time is one of two resources they are short on.

Their storied season has led these young women to this once in a lifetime opportunity. They are raising money to help to fund their team with the equipment and travel essentials needed to compete against some of our nation’s greatest teams. The players and coaches will be staying on site during the tournament checking in this Thursday 7/22 our league leaders are working fast to ensure these girls have what they need for success.

* Team Uniforms (these girls have been playing hard daily and will continue to play daily their uniforms got worn out from playing so hard we want them looking sharp)

* Team meals

* Essential Travel necessities (staying in dorms for a week in need of supplies)

This group of young ladies are very special and have such an amazing history together. They have been playing together since they were tiny tots in the city of La Verne and share a special bond anyone can see once you’ve seen them play on the field together. This group like many have experienced heartbreak and challenges with youth sports being effected by COVID in California but never gave up on their personal development. When this team was united in March it has been complete harmony since and have competitively battled their way to get this far and there’s no doubt they will make it to the next level which is the World Series in South Carolina in August. Their season record Win-Loss record is 25-1!

These girls did almost the impossible in the State Championship last week. They battled their way through the losers bracket and played 7 days straight only to come and double dip the team who gave them their first loss and won the Championship. They had 2 walk-offs and many nail bitting one run victories. These girls fight on the field until the last inning.
