Help L Recover from Motorcycle Accident

Hey, my name is Shay and my boyfriend is L. We got into a motorcycle accident last night because of a lack of proper signage (see picture) and reflectors on a hidden forked median. The emt told me this was their 3rd call from that same spot today! In order to save me, my man slid the back tire out so I landed softly in the grass, and he hit the median head-on. It was too late to do anything else by the time we actually saw it. The bike landed on him, crushing his leg and collarbone.

I am physically fine, just sore (which makes no sense), but L needs surgery and a lot of return hospital visits that we honestly cannot afford. We thought about just not going to the hospital because we knew we couldn’t afford it, but his leg would never have healed at home. We’ll be paying this off forever, so if you have anything to spare for him, please help . Anything helps to get the total (without insurance) down a little. We have to pay for the ambulance ride, the surgery and hospital stay, his meds, physical therapy, and having some money to cover bills while i provide and he heals up would be amazing. He didn’t deserve this. He was doing everything a safe, smart biker does, going under the speed limit and with full LED lights all the way around, but the lack of signage coming up on a massive curb in the middle of the road is the city’s problem, not his! He literally didn’t see it coming. Please, please help if you can. I just got to get him home.
