Help Kyson and Maddie Through NICU Journey

hi! my name is maddie and i am kyson’s mom. Kyson was born on July 3rd, 2024, at 23 weeks gestation. Now, at 31 weeks and six days, his NICU stay continues, with an extended hospitalization expected. The NICU called me today saying that an air transfer to Kansas City Children's Hospital is necessary to prevent potential blindness. This was very urgent very unexpected and very quick i had no time to prepare so Unfortunately, financial concerns have become a stressful issue. Staying in Springfield will exhaust my resources for travel to visit Kyson, while staying at the hospital in Kansas City will compromise my ability to work and pay rent. All funds will go to gas and a place to stay while Kyson will require treatment in Kansas City for several weeks.
