Help Kyshan & Isabella’s family navigate through tough times

Hello there everyone,

I truly did not want to have to do this, however my family is in a time of crisis and we need all of the help we can be so fortunate to receive.

At approximately 1:30 AM on 6/16 (Father’s Day) my partner Kyshan slipped and fell down. He ended up breaking both of his wrists, the left one is an acute fracture and the right one is a comminuted fracture… We saw the orthopedist today (6/17) and they said that the bones are lined up and he should be able to heal without surgery, which is great news! He is now out of the splint that was on the right hand and he is in a more comfortable cast for the time being and the Dr. allowed him to have no cast on the left hand for now. He is due back for another X-Ray in 10 days (6/27) and they will ensure that the bone is healing properly. The Dr. is estimating 6 weeks for him to be fully healed, which would be the reason that I am starting this fundraiser.

The Dr. cleared him to go back to work with the restriction of no heavy lifting and to limit the use of his right hand to ensure that it heals correctly. However, his manager called him and informed him that the company “does not do restrictions.” This has put us in a predicament because we are currently spending all of our resources on bills/rent and caring for our children. We are looking into accident lawyers and worker’s compensation but we won’t be able to make it without some sort of supplemental income. I made the goal assuming that he will be out of work for the full 6 weeks and that we will not find work in that time, but we both are applying everywhere and trying our best to figure something out.

Prior to Kyshan’s injury, he was working full-time and I stayed home with our 3 kids (our 5 month old daughter and my 2 children, for full transparency.) I homeschool my son, as we live in a very dangerous area. I have not worked in over 5 years. I have been able to stay home with the children due to many reasons.

The funds that we raise will be used to assist us in paying our rent, electricity/gas, water, as well as feeding our family, and fueling our vehicle for appointments & interviews etc.
