Help XenRayella Thank Her Heroes: Support Her Medical Care!

Donation protected
XenRayella's journey has been nothing short of a rollercoaster, marked by a tragic accident that left her in dire need of medical attention. Her devoted mama, Kyrie, believed in her baby's spirit and rallied for help, and through the kindness of a remarkable doctor who recognized the love and determination behind XenRayella's story, a chance at recovery was given. Despite the initial lack of funding, these medical professionals took a leap of faith to save her life, initiating vital procedures that have sustained her stability. Thanks to donors and fundraisers we were able to cover initial costs to keep her medical care moving. Now that she has been discharged from the hospital and as she continues her recovery, we are reaching out to the community for support. We want to ensure that these exceptional doctors receive the compensation they deserve for their unwavering commitment to XenRayella's care, so that they can continue to make a difference in the lives of other animals in need. Your contributions will not only help cover her medical bills but also empower these heroes to save more lives in the future. Please help us ensure that XenRayella’s journey continues with hope and gratitude. The goal has been adjusted to the final amount needed to cover the last of the medical bills.

UPDATE 2/11/25: XENRAYELLA IS HOME!!! She is doing amazing. We still have vet bills to pay and some extra things that she needs to continue care at home. She goes back to the vets 3 times a week for bandage changes and to see if there are any problem areas and infections. Still have a long way to go but it’s so exciting that she is home. We are still needing help. Please help.

UPDATE: XenRayella has come so far and we are getting closer everyday to her coming home. She has transitioned into open air healing versus all the bandages and they have her on an antibiotic just in case. We still need help with the vet bills this is building… we have about $4500 to pay on the deal the vet made to take her. Please help.

UPDATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT: An update on Xen. She has gained 10 lbs. which is amazing. She is healing which causes her to want to lick more. So she ends up wearing the cone more often than not right now. She has chewed off the bandages on her feet more than once. She loves just hanging out under the doctors desk. And she doesn’t miss a chance to go greet other staff when she is on her way to a room where Kyrie Snow gets to visit with her. We are still needing help with the vet bills. Please help we are struggling at keeping up. The progress is amazing and we don’t want to have to stop care and risk infections. Thank you so very much!

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: XenRayella is getting more of her personality back every day. She has always been a very quiet chill dog. And she has not showed any aggression or grumpiness during this whole experience. But she has always been able to express her dislike of something with just a look or nose up in the air. She is sneaky when she tries to chew her bandages off pretending to pout in her blanket when she is actually chewing or licking the bandage on her leg. She is expressing her love and happiness more as well. We are working on reaching a goal and we need you to help. The cost of these bandages and the ointments and medications they use to prevent infections or take away the pain is not cheap. The 24 hour care she has to have is also not cheap. And even though I the vet has gone above and beyond to help XenRayella, we want to make sure they are reimbursed as they should be. Please help us reach that goal. Thank you in advance.

MONDAY NIGHT UPDATE: Today when Kyrie visited Xen it was outside. And Xen in her all her beautiful and colorful full body bandages looks amazing with all the green around her and the sun shining down. She is so calm and easy going. She is healing and even though these updates are great we are still needing donations. The amount shown here is what we have gotten. We include any offline donations in our count here just so we can show what has been donated and keep a running total of what is needed. We also check with the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital to make sure we are capturing the donations made there onto our total here. The amount shown is a combination of all donations. Thanks for those that have donated and continue to donate. Please help.

SATURDAY UPDATE: Kyrie Snow was able to see Xen in a room today and Xen could move around more. She is a full body of bandages and she is still at risk for infections. She has come along way and her prognosis is good. We are still needing donations because her treatment getting her to the finish line isn’t cheap. Please consider donating here on her gofundme or directly to the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital under XenRayella’s name [phone redacted]. Thanks in advance for donating and sharing and all prayers.

FRIDAY NIGHT UPDATE: It’s an amazing feeling when you hear the doctor say… when you take her home you’ll have to bring her back here once a week just so we can see her. We aren’t there yet but the we are getting to a point to where the topic comes up. She is still at risk for infections and until her bandages are more manageable and she has more healing to do so she will stay at the hospital. Kyrie was laying with Xen during her visit as she tends to do and I was realizing how much Xen must miss snuggling with her mommy. Xen is doing great and the pictures and updates Kyrie gets before she gets to the hospital for the visit are amazing. We still need help. We appreciate every bit of help we get.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT UPDATE: Kyrie is back to being able to see Xen more regularly. I love getting the FaceTime call to to share in the visit and talk to Xen. Xen is a fighter and she is so calm and easy going at the same time. She is so loved by anyone that comes into contact with her. The money we raise here goes toward Xens medical bills. We are blessed that the doctors and hospital is willing to keep Xen there to heal but it costs them money and so many bandages not to mention any medication they have to give her. They wrapped her whole busy in bandages today. Xen is creative and wants to lick but she needs to stay as sterile as possible to not get infections. Please donate.

MONDAY NIGHT UPDATE: Today Kyrie was able to see Xen. She was so excited, Xen was so excited. The visit went really well. I will let Kyrie’s Facebook tell it all. We are still working toward the goal. Every bit helps and the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital is staffed again.
SUNDAY UPDATE: Because of the fires the communication with the doctors are limited. We know they will update us if there is anything that change the course of her treatment so we are under the “no news is good news” because we don’t bog down their time while they are working out their next steps with the fire. Kyrie is missing her so much as she hasn’t been able to visit Xen for 5 days. The last update we had was that they took Xen for labs on Friday and they were looking good, bandage changes and that she is safe with the owners who are both veterinarians. AMAZING PEOPLE! And we are still needing cover Xens costs. Please help with Xen. And pray for those affected by these fires.

THURSDAY UPDATE: Wow this has been a rollercoaster of a year so far. XenRayella still needs help. The Malibu Coast Animal Hospital is on the edge of the evacuation from the fires. The owner of that hospital also had a hospital in Palisades and although I am not sure as to the extent that of the damage these fires have dealt them I am positive they have lost a great deal. And they have closed the Malibu one for the time being just to be safe. What does that mean for Xen? They took her to their home and are caring for her there. Amazing people and even with the losses they suffer with these fires they have continued to care for Xen. These supplies and her meds cost money and now more than ever we need to make sure that we to cover these costs so they aren’t losing that too. I normally would say you can donate directly to Xen’s account at the Malibu Animal Hospital by phone… but for the safety of the staff there is no one there to take those payments until they reopen. In the meantime this gofundme works. We appreciate any and all help. And prayers to those affected by these fires as well.

TUESDAY UPDATE: I update this regularly so that people know this is a legit gofundme. XenRayella is at the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital. They also take donations by phone her account is her name. She is healing fast and has come along way. Kyrie visits her as much as possible. Right now she couldn’t go see her because of the Palisades fire. The animal hospital is just outside of the warning zone right now. Pray for those animals and people affected by these fires please. We are praying for all those affected. I am still posting for Xen just because we are on a timeline. The doctor was going to do a small minor surgery Thursday to get some more dead skin off. The doctor expected this as the last surgery they didn’t know if more skin would die around the wound. This will most likely wait based on the fires but will need to happen. XenRayella is making such great progress. The money we raise is going for her treatment and healing.

SUNDAY UPDATE: we still need $4500 to keep XenRayella on the healing path at the hospital. This Wednesday is the day the first step ends as far as the deal made in the beginning. And the 2nd step begins financially. XenRayellas lost some weight during this journey and her jaw was really sore and she was only eating soft food and chicken. Now she is eating some moist kibble with chicken. A new improvement. She is clinically stable and they are able to let Xen relax more instead of constantly checking her. They are watching for infections which is the biggest risk she has at the moment. They are managing her pain levels. It is still required hospital care for healing and That $4500 goal that we are trying to reach is for that “ICU” care with those bandage changes and meds and care constant watch for infections. It takes 2-4 hours to change the bandages every time. Please help us get XenRayella to the point where she can get home.

FRIDAY UPDATE: $4500… that’s how much we need to keep XenRayella at the hospital for wound care and pain management for a month! Malibu Coast Animal Hospital is amazing for allowing this opportunity. They deserve so much more. XenRayella is making so much progress. They are watching for infections and doing bandage changes and pain management. These bandage changes can take 2-3 hours and a lot of bandages. And Xen is strong and pulling her own weight as much as she can. She is mostly quiet and patient and although a bit more vocal than before the surgery she is still calm and loving. Kyrie is visiting her twice a day if she can and posts pictures and videos of her visit. Please help keep XenRayella in the hospital where her healing process will be monitored and have the most success. Infections are a huge risk as she regrows 60% of her skin back. Not once did XenRayella give up on herself. Not once did Kyrie give up on XenRayella. Let’s fight together to give her the best chance at a healthy recovery. Thanks for those that donated! You are greatly appreciated!

MONDAY UPDATE: Xen is out of the surgery. She handled anesthesia well. They got all the dead skin removed from her. She has a lot of open areas but the doctor is hopeful. The biggest thing they are worried about aside from the open areas are the proteins. Kyrie has been extremely anxious all day and is glad for the good news but also anxious because this is the hardest part so far. They also told Kyrie that it wasn’t a good idea to see her like this and that it will be a rough night and that she can call tomorrow morning to see about visiting which is causing more anxiety. Please continue to donate and pray.
SUNDAY UPDATE: The vet called Kyrie this morning asking her to bring in boiled chicken because Xen is still losing proteins. They are trying to get them up so they can do some surgery tomorrow. The plan is still the plan and funding is still the hurdle. We feel like there are much better options with her health than the first day but it’s still costly. And we will continue to update. Please keep sharing, praying and donating. There are many different ways to donate.

SATURDAY UPDATE: Kyrie saw her this morning. They are thinking of doing a plasma transfusion and an ultrasound to make sure there isn’t any internal bleeding. She is still eating and has a bit of a fever but still stable. Surgery is scheduled within the next few days. The weekend will be resting and continued stabilization. Please continue to share and donate. These doctor said that the more funds the better the more things they open up for her.

FRIDAY UPDATE: The transfusions went well. She is trying to stand up. She was a little tired this morning but a little more interactive this evening. She has a bit of fever and a possibly a bit of acid reflux as well as using the bathroom. She is chilling with her new blue neck pillow. She is still eating and drinking. Kyrie visits her 2ce a day to tell her she loves her. Please continue to donate we are still looking at surgical for her wounds. There are multiple ways to donate.

THURSDAY EVENING UPDATE: XenRayella is getting blood transfusions. She is tolerating it well. They are trying to get her proteins up. The doctors and staff are still amazing and caring and updating Kyrie with videos and photos. The transfusions are a long process and carry risks. We are still working to reach our goal because the goal is still surgery. Thank you so much for those that have helped or will help and all the prayers.
THURSDAY MORNING UPDATE: XenRayella was stable overnight and eating and drinking good. The staff loves her and she is calm. That’s the good news. The problems and concerns are that she is losing her proteins faster than she can keep them because of the open wounds. They are doing what they can with what they have available. The ideal situation would be for her to be into a surgical specialist to and getting these wounds treated the way they should be. But funding is the issue. This babygirl is strong and loved and fighting. Kyrie is fighting and trying and if she was on the top of her musical career she wouldn’t have to ask for anything other than prayers. Please help.

MORNING UPDATE: Ok the wound care is complete and the bumpy night turned into a positive morning. Xen was released from the wound care vet and they were amazing. Kyrie then took Xen back to the beginning emergency hospital to an amazing doctor that is helping for the next 2 weeks. We managed to scrounge the $1500 to get her in. This was an amazing blessing that this doctor presented to keep her hospitalized to manage her stability for the next 2 weeks. She will have to have the other $1500 when she picks Xen up for the next stage which will be skin grafting and other choices. I wanted to show a photo of this beautiful girl. She had just giving her mommy Kyrie a kiss and this is her smile. As they took her into the hospital. Thank you for all that is helping. Please share this so we can get this babygirl back to healthy.

UPDATE!! Still a long way to go. Many vet visits but 5 different vets and one finally agreed to do some wound care. Wnilr XenRayella is getting her wounds cleamed up Kyrie gets a call (or message) from the very first vet she was at. The doctor was so taken by Kyrie’s dedication to Xen that the doctor decided she wanted to take Xen in for the next couple of weeks to nurse her back to health in a sterile environment. This will give us better ideas of how many skin grafts are needed and any other medical needs. Kyrie just has to come up with $1500 tomorrow and pay $1500 in 2 weeks and then we can move onto the skin grafts.

My name is XenRayella! I am 3 years old and my mommy is Kyrie. We spend a lot of time together and go to the park, play with my rope, and have lots of fun together. We live in California and my grandma in Wisconsin is setting this up to help me.

Today, the back latch malfunctioned and caused the hatch to pop open while we were heading back home, and I fell out. I was strapped in, but I still had a little room and was injured. Now, I need some medical work, including skin grafts. My mommy is an awesome singer and has been working hard and put some music out there, but she doesn’t have enough money for these surgeries. I just want to get better so I can play with my mommy again and for her to not cry anymore. Please help us.
