For the past 16 years, Kyra and Julie were also roommates, sharing a home and splitting rent and living expenses together. Julie wasn’t just a roommate—she was family. Losing Julie has left Kyra not only grieving deeply, but also facing an unexpected financial crisis.

Kyra lives in Florida and survives on Social Security income, which makes it impossible to cover the full monthly rent of $1,689 on her own. With Julie gone, Kyra is now struggling to keep up with rent, buy groceries, and afford basic personal and household items while trying to process this devastating loss.
