Hello, my name is Kyra! Im coming here to ask for help, im not the biggest fan of reaching out for help & I've always tried to independently solve my problems but I do believe in the power of a community so I'm trying to be as transparent as can be & ask for your help. 3 months ago my car broke down, it's been battle after battle to try and get it towed from shop to shop looking for someone to fix it. I've finally reached the point where I've found a shop that can fix it, but it's looking like a whopping $3,800 for the transmission rebuild (im going with the rebuild because it'd be more to replace it outright). Im a young mom with a young son & im working full-time but i can't seem to catch a break between bills, broken vehicles, broken teeth, and everything else that's become so so expensive in our lives. I appreciate it if you've made it this far, thank you for listening to me. my car is my main form of transportation and this couldn't have come at a more uncomfortable time in my life, but that's the way life is. Just when you think it's easy life throws a little test out there to keep you humbled, and keep you patient. if you can help, thank you. if you can't, but you can share, thank you too.
