Help Kyra, aka Ms. Kitty, live a more comfortable life.

Hi, for my birthday this year I am again raising funds, but this time it is for my cat, Kyra, aka Ms.Kitty.

Some of you may know I adopted this stray cat who had been hanging around my apartment complex for a couple of years, being fed by a neighbor who moved away. She meowed and stared at me through my window one night and our relationship started.

Originally, I had her checked out by a vet, and she was considered healthy, in spite of what they claimed was a benign cyst on her back. Well, a few weeks after adopting her, I was told she needed surgery to remove the infected cyst. We got through the surgery and recovery, and then discovered she has some type of allergy that is causing her to constantly scratch and chew at her skin until she bleeds.

I have tried many things, and spent a fair amount of money and effort trying to solve her allergy problem. It is looking like she will need to go to a pet dermatologist, and either require an expensive diet or allergy treatments for the rest of her life. So, I am reaching out for help. I am very low-income due to my own health challenges (chronic pain) which prevent me from working very much, so I am asking for any help you might feel inspired to give to help Kyra have a more comfortable life.
