We found out today that Kylo has congestive heart failure and is at a very high risk for sudden cardiac arrest. His main generator has stopped working and this very strong, good boy is running solely on his back-up.

Kylo is 4 years old and the best dog you’ve ever met. We know people probably say that all the time, but in the case of Kylo, it’s true. He is the most patient, loyal and loving dog and we can’t imagine losing him so soon. He’s also extremely handsome. Kylo is a very active pup and loves swimming in the river and playing fetch with anybody that will throw a ball, stick, frisbee, moms shoe, etc.  However, due to this diagnosis, he will be extremely limited in the amount of physical activity, as the risk of sudden cardiac arrest will increase. 

At this time, Kylo’s doctors are recommending he receive a pacemaker to give this extremely good boi the long life that he deserves. Without this procedure, his doctors do not think that his heart will be able to withstand his normal activity for more than a few months.
