Almost four years ago, I rescued a little cat named Kylo from a shelter. From the moment I brought him home, he became my best friend. He’s the sweetest, most loving boy and has been by my side through so many moments of my life. Kylo isn’t just a pet to me—he’s family.
Recently, Kylo started getting very sick. We took him to the vet, and after running tests, they discovered that his white blood cell count is extremely high. The veterinarian believes he may be dealing with a form of hepatitis or a serious infection affecting his liver. Right now, Kylo is being kept at the vet where they are giving him IV fluids and antibiotics to help fight the infection and support his liver. The hope is that this treatment will help his body recover and start bringing his levels back down. If this treatment works, Kylo should start improving and won’t need further procedures. However, if he doesn’t respond to the antibiotics and fluids, the next step would be taking him to another city for more advanced diagnostics. We are taking things one step at a time and praying that the current treatment helps him pull through.
Kylo means the world to me, and seeing him go through this has been heartbreaking. We are doing everything we can to give him the best chance to recover. Any support, whether it’s donating or simply sharing Kylo’s story, would mean so much to us. Most of all, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts for our sweet boy. Thank you for helping us fight for Kylo.
