Hello! My name is Kylie Bennett, I am a soprano completing my undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Louisville, where I study with Emily Albrink Katz. This summer, I am attending my first young artist program in Salzburg, Austria and I am raising money to support and fund the expenses of that program. This program will expand my musical knowledge and aid in my vocal growth by giving me the opportunity to attend multiple lessons and masterclasses each week. I will also be participating in a vocal competition and the finalists will give a full recital at the end of the program. For those who don’t know me, here’s a little bit about my musical career. At the University of Louisville, I have sang multiple times with their symphony orchestra. I recently won the Huang Aria Competition and sang “Je dis que rien ne m’epouvante” from Bizet’s Carmen. I was also featured as the Soprano soloist in Bach’s Magnificat and Jorge Lhez’s Stabat Mater. I am funding majority of the program on my own so I would love to have as much support as possible. Anything that you can give will be greatly appreciated in supporting my dreams for this summer and my future!
