Help Kyleigh stay in fight against Brain Tumors

Donation protected
Hello everyone, thank you for continuing to follow along with Kyleigh’s story.
Just for the ones needing to catch up. Just over 3 years ago Kyleigh was diagnosed with two rare brain tumors that only occur in 0.2% of the population over the age of 20, called Cellular Neuroepithelial Tumors, stages 2 and 3. Kyleigh's tumors are on the right side of her brain. One is close to her skull and the second one is deep in by her ventricles. The tumors are also causing her to have simple partial seizures, running the whole span of her body on her left side. Because of these seizures, she walks with a cane, is on anti-seizure medication, and her left side is basically numb and in a state of paralysis.

Well, to run it short it is back and this time it is with a vengeance.

It has come back as a stage 4 Glioblastoma. Growing at an alarming rate, throwing the medical team curve balls every chance it can get. When we are talking of an A Team of heavy hitters of Dr. Dunn (neurosurgeon), Dr. Gunter (radiation oncologist) and Dr. Battiste (neuro oncologist) that says a lot to throw them curve balls. The largest tumor went from a sub centimeter to just over 2.5 cm in 20 days.

The biggest thing is Kyleigh is staying strong and wants to stay in this fight!

They are awaiting results for a Caris molecule test. This will help a better treatment path for Kyleigh. This could also help in the future of recurring tumors. This testing is not covered again by insurance. Though could be a game changer in her care. This test profiles precisely by analyzing DNA, RNA, protein biomarker, revealing the highest quality molecular blueprint for the most appropriate cancer therapy.

As we all know from the last fight, this will be many trips back and forth to OKC. Many stays for lengths of time for treatments, checkups, food costs, fuel and much more, I am sure.

If you can help this family, PLEASE do so. They are wonderful, deserving, people who care for others deeply, but now find themselves needing others to care for them. Please give what you can. Even if you can't donate money, please pray that Kyleigh's tumors will shrink, and she will go back to being able to fulfill her dream of becoming a healthy Registered Nurse.
