On May 28th Kylee’s home caught on fire while she was at work. Her roommate was cooking and a grease fire ensued. Her roommate and boyfriend were able to make it out safely. She and Austin have temporary housing but it is quickly depleting their savings.
Kylee works in residential homes with special needs and elderly clients. She was saving for a car and now finds herself without money for a security deposit on a new home or money for a car.
Kylee is a former Girl Scout who has volunteered tirelessly for our community. She has helped rebuild/maintain parks, cleaned trails, provided blankets, clothes and tools for Carr fire and Camp fire victims. She has built literacy centers for children of trauma, played cards with veterans and honored the memories of the fallen.
We are asking for the community’s support to help her regain her footing and maintain her independence. Thank you to everyone who has supported her so far, she is eternally grateful.
