Help Kylee on Her Road to Recovery!

Written by Kylee’s dad: On the morning of December 25, 2023, our daughter Kylee and her friends were involved in a devastating two-vehicle accident. The impact was severe, particularly on the right side of the vehicle where Kylee was seated. As a result, Kylee suffered a concussion, a fractured facial bone, and a compound break in her lower right leg. She was rushed to a trauma unit, where doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize her condition.
As a retired police officer with 25 years of experience, I am all too familiar with the importance of emergency medical services. Interestingly, just before the accident, Kylee and I watched the movie "Ambulance," which sparked her interest in becoming an EMT. Despite the pain and challenges she has faced, Kylee's spirit remains strong. She recalls regaining consciousness in the ambulance and being treated by heroic EMTs, which further fueled her desire to pursue a career in this field.
While Kylee is expected to make a physical recovery, the emotional trauma will take time to heal. Unfortunately, her vehicle was completely destroyed in the accident, leaving her without a means of transportation. This setback adds to the challenges she faces, especially as she was recently hired as a customer care representative for an insurance company, with on-site training scheduled to start on January 29, 2024.
We are reaching out to our community for support during this difficult time. We are seeking assistance in replacing Kylee's Honda Fit with an equivalent method of transportation, so she can regain her independence and commute to her new job. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be immensely appreciated and would go a long way in helping Kylee on her road to recovery.
If you have the heart, desire, and means to contribute, we would be forever grateful. Your generosity will not only assist Kylee in rebuilding her life but also provide her with the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and considering supporting Kylee during her journey to healing and independence. Your kindness and support mean the world to us.
