I’ve struggled with addiction since I was 13, and this last time, I lost everything. My sober date is December 28, 2025, so it’s only been three months, but I’m not stopping. I have a 10-year-old daughter, and having a car would make it so much easier to see her and get to work. Right now, I’m on new medications, I have a roof over my head, and food in my belly—God is good, and I’m so grateful for my friend, who’s become like family to me for all the help she’s given.
Even with all this progress, I just can’t save up for a car at the moment. Having reliable transportation would help me get to work, see my daughter more often, and support my recovery by giving me access to more AA/NA meetings. I’m working hard to rebuild my life, and every bit of support helps me move forward.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I don’t expect anybody to donate, but if there’s someone out there who understands or can relate, I’d be so grateful for any help. Thanks again in advance—God is love.
