Help Kyle Nishio Save His Mother, Liane Kim's Legacy

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the story of my dear friend and adopted brother, Kyle Nishio, who recently lost his beloved mother, Liane Kim, to cancer on July 28, 2024. Liane was an extraordinary woman—a talented artist, a loving mother, a cherished sister and aunt, and a wonderful friend to many. For over 20 years, she passionately ran East West Frame and Art in Carlsbad, CA, a business that became a cornerstone of the community and a testament to her dedication and creativity.

Liane's dying wish was that Kyle would inherit their newly purchased home and continue her legacy through the business she poured her heart and soul into. However, this dream has been shattered by unforeseen legal battles. Due to the mishandling of her estate by an incompetent lawyer, Kyle is now in a fight for the very home that Liane wished to pass on to him. Even more heartbreaking, he was recently and unlawfully locked out of the business, all of her accounts, and is facing eviction from the property.

Kyle is now faced with the monumental challenge of covering memorial expenses, legal fees to fight for his rightful inheritance, and the overwhelming costs of trying to navigate this difficult time and relocate the business. The burden is immense, both emotionally and financially, and he cannot do it alone.

We are reaching out to the community and all who knew and loved Liane to help Kyle during this time of need. Your support will not only help him secure the house his mother wished for him to have but also ensure that her legacy through East West Frame and Art continues to thrive.

Any amount you can contribute will make a significant difference. Let’s come together to honor Liane’s memory, support Kyle in his battle for justice, and ensure that her life’s work is not lost.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly challenging time.

With deepest gratitude,
Michelle Bayer
