Hi, I offered to start this Gofundme on behalf of Kyle Moran and his mom, Cheryl Moran. My family met their family when Kyle and my son were about to start kindergarten.

Kyle was skiing in Colorado and sustained serious spinal injuries when he hit a tree. He was lifeflighted to Denver and underwent spinal stabilization surgery. The prognosis is uncertain but at this time he has not been able to move his legs since surgery. Cheryl is currently with Kyle in the Denver hospital. Doctors are telling her Kyle will need months of rehabilitation. At this time it is not determined whether Kyle will receive intensive rehab in Denver (which means significant travel expenses for family) or will return to Cleveland, which likely would require expensive medical transport. As this just happened, there are many unknowns.

Kyle is a 2015 graduate of Lakewood High and attended St. James School and LCA.
